Superior, Wisc. - A Pro Football Hall of Famer will be in Superior on Wednesday when former Vikings Head Coach Bud Grant visits his former high school. But Tuesday, USA Martial Arts Hall of Famer Tim Runquist was in Superior. He was just inducted in Indianapolis on April 20th.

"I was actually at the event and at the induction ceremonies before I found out and I didn't find out until they called my name and I thought I was just there to help some friends," says Runquist.

Runquist is just the 13th Minnesotan to earn that honor. He owns Iron Range Kickboxing Academy and Cody's Martial Arts in Babbitt, Minnesota. He started learning martial arts when he was eight and picked it up again in his early 20's when his son started taking classes.

"He got into it and I thought, you know what, I am going to do this with him and from that point on, it has been me trying to keep up with my son because he is 10-times the martial artist I am and I am so proud to be able to train with him," says Runquist.
