Cats can be pretty relaxed. But Animal Allies stopped by Good Morning Northland Thursday with one that was very cool with a hot name.
Anna Sjodin brought Pepper. He has been in a couple of homes, but has not found the right one yet, Sjodin said. Pepper does have a sensitive stomach, so he would need some food that is softer on his stomach.
This weekend Animal Allies is hosting a huge event, which Pepper is a part of. It is the shelter's Adopt-a-Thon. Sjodin said the Duluth shelter will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
There is $50 off adoption fees for dogs and cat fees are just $20. Sjodin said they can get even lower if someone has sponsored the pet.
On top of all the animals, there will be lots of events including a meet and greet with local team mascots, a Cat-tucky Derby, a caricatures artist and much, much more.
