A Minnesota woman accused of killing her boyfriend has been sentenced to life in prison for the second time.
On November 1, 2011, authorities found Angelina Omara's boyfriend, Michael Pies, shot to death in a room at the Anderson Motel in Ashland.
Thursday afternoon, the Ashland County Clerk of Courts told Eyewitness News that Omara's sentence came after she entered a no contest plea to a first degree intentional homicide charge.
Omara was sentenced to life in prison the first time in December, after admitting to shooting and killing her ex-husband, James Omara, in October of 2011. He was killed at his Sauk Rapids apartment in central Minnesota.
Both sentences come without possibility of parole.
