Woman Arrested in Mt. Iron Armed Robbery

A 50-year-old woman was arrested around 9:30 Wednesday morning, after allegedly robbing a Mt. Iron convenience store with a knife.
St. Louis County authorities got a report of an armed robbery at the Little Joe's convenience store, stating a female had come into the store and attempted to rob the clerk at knife point.
They said deputies responded and found the suspect about a block from the scene, still holding the knife.
Authorities said the woman was taken into custody without incident. Formal charges are pending.
