The victim's name is Adam John Sharp. Authorities said he was on his way to work at the time of the crash.
According to a news release issued by Sgt. Wade Rasch, authorities responded to a reported car versus train accident on Arkola Road in Kelsey Township around 6 o'clock Wednesday morning. He said the accident happened at the BNSF railroad crossing near the intersection of Arkola and Parssinen Roads, which is west of Cotton.
