We all do our best to brush and floss, or at least that is what we tell our dentists.
On Wednesday, elementary students at Bayview Elementary School in Proctor learned about healthy habits from Just Kids Dental.
The non-profit organization spreads the word about clean teeth with demonstrations and dancing in schools across the Northland, Just Kids Dental also offers free teeth cleanings and makes sure to get a toothbrush to every student.
"Over and over again there are children who do not own their own toothbrush and we hear many times that siblings share a toothbrush because there is only one in the house," said Stacey Anderson, the organization's executive director.
Just Kids Dental hopes to hand out more than 10,000 toothbrushes this year. The organization has been working in the Northland for about 7 years.
