A group of Duluth college students are taking on a task, that will hopefully nab some big national attention come the end of March.
Students involved with KUMD, a radio station broadcast out of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, will be hosting a show called "College Radio Countdown" on the television station MTVU, a sister station of MTV.
The students started the process of shooting a video to incorporate into that show on Fish Lake Friday morning.
Sam Ginsberg, a UMD student, said "this is new this year so we're really excited that we got in this inaugural season of this program and that there are two Minnesota radio stations that got on it. There are probably no more than 30 that have done it before."
Ginsberg told Eyewitness News the group would spend several hours on the ice, gathering video that will only be used for about ten seconds of the final product.
They'll continue shooting video for the next week.
