Update: Power Restored After Large Outage

According to their website, Minnesota Power said they were "aware of a large outage affecting downtown Duluth and surrounding areas."
Power outages were reported in Downtown, Canal Park, as well as Park Point.
Their website says that the outage occurred around 7:20 pm Thursday night. 978 customers were without power, although most had power again by 7:51 pm.
Minnesota Power officials say that all power was restored by 9:31 pm.
The cause of the outage is still unknown at this time.
