Looking for something different to do this New Year's Eve besides the usual parties? The Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra is bringing a unique musical guest to the Northland.
Rebecca Petersen is the executive director of the DSSO. She stopped by Good Morning Northland Tuesday to talk about the Giant Earth Harp and Mass Ensemble's New Year's Eve performance.
The Giant Earth Harp was featured on the program, "America's Got Talent." Petersen said the harp will be strung from the floor to the ceiling of Amsoil Arena. There are also a few big surprise planned during the performance.
There is also some pre-concert entertainment, featuring local musicians Israel Malachi and Bill Bastian, Petersen said. There will also be more entertainment after the concer.
It all begins at Amsoil Arena at 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31. For tickets, visit www.dsso.com or call (218) 623-3776.
