Nashwauk Man Found Dead after Fire

The Itasca County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man whose body was found following a fire.
On Friday night, a 911 caller reported a building and vehicle on fire on county Road 8 in Balsam Township. After the fire was put out, authorities discovered a body in the vehicle driver's seat.
The sheriff's office identified the body as Louis Stewart, 68, of Nashwauk.
Foul play is not suspected. The Itasca County Sheriff's Office is coordinating an investigation with the Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office.
