Fire Destroys Cook Home

A mobile home in Cook went up in flames Monday morning and it's believed two dogs inside died.
Crews from the Cook Fire Department responded to 214 2nd Street Northwest around 10:30 a.m, The building was gutted by flames and a portion of the roof sank in.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says the occupant was not home at the time. The residence is a total loss and the cause of the blaze is unknown at this time, but it did not appear to be suspicious.
