Duluth Cab Driver Choked, Shot at, Robbed

A Duluth cab driver is choked, shot at, and then robbed early Sunday morning.
The driver picked up two people in West Duluth. When the driver dropped them off near 1st Avenue East and 8th Street around 4:15 am, one of the suspects pulled a gun on him and demanded money.
The second suspect then choked the driver. The driver was able to break free from the suspect and run away.
One suspect chased after him, firing a shot, but missing. However, the suspect was able to catch the driver, rob him, and get away with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspects were last seen fleeing eastbound on 8th Street.
Police are still investigating the incident. No suspects are in custody.
