    The sound of jets is nothing new in Duluth with the 148th making regular flights, but this week you might get to spot the Air Force Thunderbird F-16s who landed at the base on Sunday. The Thunderbirds are in town before they fly over the MLB All-Star Game in Minneapolis on Tuesday.

  • 'Les Miserables' Rehearsals Move to DECC

    The sets for the upcoming production of "Les Miserables" have been moved to the DECC for the final rehearsals. It's the first time the Duluth Playhouse, the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra and the Minnesota Ballet have all teamed up on a project.

  • Bicyclists and Pedestrians Enjoy Lincoln Park's Meet on the Street

    A street in Lincoln Park was closed off to cars Sunday to allow a little more foot and pedal traffic. The Meet on the Street event took over three blocks of Third Street between 24th and 27th Avenues West. People could walk, bike or do anything that didn't have a motor.

  • Lake Superior Zoo Celebrates Monkey Birthdays

    The Lake Superior Zoo held a birthday party Sunday for two Angolan colobus monkeys that were born there last year. They celebrated with cake, ice cream and a singing crowd. They also raised funds for the Colobus Conservation in Kenya.
