Authorities Looking for Suspect in Accident

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office is looking for the public's help to find a suspect who fled the scene of an accident Sunday morning.

Authorities said the accident happened at the intersection of Vermillion Drive and Ashawa Road in Cook around 10:40 a.m. Sunday.

The sheriff's office said a vehicle ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle. Minor injuries were reported, but the parties involved were treated and released, authorities said.

The driver of the suspect car allegedly fled on foot following the accident, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office said. The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid-30s.

Authorities also said he was wearing a blue baseball hat with the letter B on it. He also was wearing a black leather jacket, black shirt, jeans and possibly had a pony tail.
