Children in the Northland can see some of their favorite stories, such as Peter Rabbit and Snowy Day, come to life at the Duluth Public Library.

Saturday was the grand opening of Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites, featuring readings by Duluth Mayor Don Ness and Minnesota State Rep. Mary Murphy.

Storyland is a free exhibit that is currently travelling to five different communities across Minnesota over two years.

It will be on display at the Duluth Public Library, 520 W. Superior St., until November 24th. The exhibit will then move to the Duluth Children's museum, 115 S. 29th Ave. W.

The exhibit is funded by the State of Minnesota Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment, Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
