Authorities Investigate Suspicious Death in Cloquet

The Cloquet Police Department and several other law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances surrounding a suspicious death.
On Thursday, approximately 5 PM, investigators discovered a body on a property on Reservation Road in the City of Cloquet on the Fond du Lac Indian Reservation.
The body will be taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy and formal identification.
Several individuals have been questioned in connection with this incident. No charges have been filed at this time.
The investigation is in its very early stages.
Further details will be provided at a news conference on Friday.
The Cloquet Police Department is investigating this case with the assistance from the Fond du Lac Police Department, the Carlton County Sheriff's Department, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and the Floodwood Police Department.
