Management Changes at Hibtac, Northshore

Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. announced that the long-time general manager for Hibbing Taconite will now be overseeing Northshore Mining instead.
Ed LaTendresse will maintain certain management responsibilities at Hibtac, to ensure business continuity.
Jack Croswell will assume the role of interim GM at Hibtac. He's currently the senior area manager of mining there.
The general manager at Northshore Mining, Jim Korpi, is taking a new role as the director of growth initiatives, North American Iron Ore.
“These men have long provided outstanding leadership to our operations in Minnesota and we hope to build on their successes by transitioning them into roles that will further strengthen Cliffs’ North American business unit,” said Terry Fedor, vice president, Cliffs’ US Iron Ore Operations.
The leadership changes are effective Monday, September 24, 2012.
