Cassie Limpert was delighted to join Good Morning Northland as the News Anchor... in spite of the alarm clock issues!
Cassie joined Eyewitness News in the spring of 2007. Her reporting covers everything from neighborhoods to the medical community. "I think one of the most enjoyable aspects of our jobs is that each day is different and you never know what you will be reporting on or what stories you will be passing on to viewers."
Cassie graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. She majored in Pyschology and Media Studies.
Cassie got an early start in her journalism career-- but as a print journalist! While still in high school, she began writing for the Minneapolis Star Tribune as a member of the Minnesota Youth News staff and later as a freelance writer. During her college years, Cassie interned at WCCO-TV, the Southwest Journal in Minneapolis, The Dr. Phil Show in Los Angeles, and 60 Minutes in Washington, D.C.
Cassie grew up in Edina, MN and still loves going "home" to visit her family and three year old Goddaughter, Lila. She spends her free time reading, quilting, scrapbooking, shopping, and emailing friends all over the country! As a diversion from the typically serious and weighty matters she reports on every morning, Cassie admits to keeping up on the latest Hollywood news!
