Charges Filed in Mt. Iron Shooting
An assault charge has been filed against a Mountain Iron man, who allegedly shot his friend during a fight last week. Tim Raymond, 40, appeared in court Wednesday morning in Virginia. His bail has been set at $50,000, but he may be put on supervised release. The criminal complaint says Raymond shot John Kolterman Jr. in the hip early Friday morning. Authorities say the men had been drinking together, inside a garage in South Grove. Kolterman is still recovering at a Duluth hospital.
