Christmas Lights for Make A Wish

Shelly and Ross Decaigny of Sawyer, Minnesota opened up not only their home, but their hearts this holiday season.

The enormous coordinated light display at 3569 Highway 210 in Sawyer can be seen at no cost. However, the family is hoping for donations. All the money raised will go towards the Make A Wish Foundation.

"We're trying to raise enough to grant a local wish for a child with a life-threatening condition." Homeowner Ross Decaigny said.  There is a drop off spot for donations right in the driveway.

The Decaigny's lit up the house for the first time Thanksgiving night but setting up the light extravaganza started long before. Ross Decaigny says they started stringing the lights during the summer.

"We have about 70,000 lights out here this year and we have a big tree on the edge of house that has 12,000 lights alone. It's kinda neat because it can rotate and spin around." The rotating tree seems to be a crowd favorite.

The lights will be displayed through January 2nd. The Decaigny's home is located off Highway 210 in Sawyer.
