Created on: 11/21/2009 11:39 PM Bulldogs Sweep GophersMINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Mike Montgomery scored at 17:58 of the third period as Minnesota-Duluth rallied from a two-goal deficit for the second straight night to beat Minnesota 3-2 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. Montgomery took a cross-ice pass and backhanded it off two defenders into the net for the sweep of the two-game series. The Bulldogs (9-4-1, 6-3-1 WCHA) trailed 2-0 on Friday before winning 4-3 in overtime. The Golden Gophers (4-7-1, 3-6-1) took a 2-0 lead on first-period goals by Mike Hoeffel and Kevin Wehrs. Wehrs also had an assist.But Jack Connolly scored his 10th goal of the season in the second period and Kyle Schmidt tied the game at 3:22 of the third period.
