Belcourt Pleads Guilty

According to Carlton County Attorney Tom Perlter, 38-year-old Kenneth Anthony Belcourt pled guilty Wednesday to first degree criminal sexual conduct and use of a minor in a sexual performance. Both are felony counts.

Belcourt was charged back in September for allegedly engaging in a sexual act with a child under age 13. According to the criminal complaint, Belcourt's ex-girlfriend contacted police after she allegedly found pornographic pictures of Belcourt and the victim on her camera. Police say the photos were taken in October 2008 at Belcourt's residence.

Pertler says Belcourt will have to undergo a psychosexual evaluation. He will be sentenced December 2nd.
