Mesabi Nugget Scheduled to Start in December

The Mesabi Nugget plant is scheduled to start pumping out iron nuggets, by mid-December.
The world's first commercial iron nugget plant is being built at the former LTV site in Hoyt Lakes.
Hundreds of contractors continue to get the massive equipment ready for the start-up, which has been pushed back into December.
The original plan was to have it running by November.
