Range to get Border Patrol Agents

The U.S. Border Patrol is working on a program to add agents to the Iron Range.

Currently, the federal agency has offices in Duluth, up the North Shore, and in International Falls.

This new program will mean the agents will work without a direct field office, but still have a presence in the communities.

The idea is to have more access to areas away from the border.
