Suspicious Death Investigation
The Sawyer County Sheriff's Department says it is investigating a fire death. According to them, they are treating the death as "suspicious," pending autopsy results.
The body was found inside a burning vehicle around 4:15 AM yesterday. Authorities say it was parked outside a home on County Highway B, 18 miles east of Hayward. According to the sheriff's department, the vehicle is registered to that owner of the residence it was parked outside. An autopsy is being conducted to determine positive identification and the cause of death.
