Airmen Receive Scholarships
15 airmen from the 148th Fighter Wing have received $1000 scholarships, from the Freemasons of Minnesota.
The Freemasons gave out 100 scholarships to National Guardsmen and women who have been deployed overseas.
One of the 148th airmen is Danielle Luukonen.
"This is really important to me. I'm the first grandchild to go to college. This money will help me finish my four year degree. It's a real honor to be receiving this," she said on Tuesday. "This money will help so much."
