Tough Hunting Season?

It might be a tough season for deer hunters this year.

The Department of Natural Resources is forecasting a smaller herd this year. According to the DNR, severe winters over the past two years have thinned the population. That goes for northern St. Louis and lake counties.

Lottery drawings are being held for either sex permits in the majority of hunting areas. A map of deer limits and more information can be found on the DNR's website.
