Minorca Mine: Pellets Coming Off the Line
Taconite pellets are now rolling off the line at Minorca Mine in Virginia.
This is the first time since May that the taconite plant has produced pellets.
Owner ArcelorMittal idled the plant for the summer, because of the recession.
Union president Ray Pierce said all 300 Steelworkers are fired up, and happy to be back to work.
They started clocking in last week, in preparation for today's re-start.
