ML/WR Rebels

The Moose Lake Willow River football team doesn't really know what it's like to lose. Senior running back Austin Jacobson says they've only lost one time since his freshman year. The Rebels lost in the state AA semifinals last season. The 5-0 team thinks they can get back there again or go even further. "I'm confident if we stay focused through the year and we constantly try to get better each week, I think we can make it to state again," said senior running back Michael Unzen.
ML/WR is tough to beat. They believe they have the edge against their opponents from their lessons learned. "Winning tradition you have to work hard and it pays off in the end," said Jacobson. "You got to work together as a team otherwise you aren't going to go anywhere," said senior running back Shane Rehbein.
