PolyMet: Draft EIS Out Week of October 19th
The wait is almost over for PolyMet's crucial draft environmental impact statement.
The DNR says the report will be available on their website the week of October 19th.
They are working with the federal Army Corp of Engineers on the environmental review and permitting for the project.
PolyMet is the base and precious metals project planned for Babbitt and Hoyt Lakes.
Groundwork for the draft EIS began three years ago.
