80 sailors remain on strike, because they don't agree with the proposed labor contract from their employer, American Steamship Company.
Steelworkers Local 5000, based out of Cleveland, said the strike started on September 18th.
American Steamship has hired replacement workers to load their lakers in the meantime.
The union said it would like to resume talks with the employer, but a meeting has not been set.
"We just want what the company's competitors agreed to with other sailors," said David Sager, president of Local 5000. "The other sailors' unions back us."
American Steamship has not returned our calls for comment.
