Line 3 at Minntac Restarted
More good news for the mining industry. Line 3 at Minntac was re-started this week.
That means all five production lines at the plant in Mt. Iron are now running.
Line 3 is the smallest line, and is often brought up and taken down without any staffing changes.
However, on a less pleasant note, the union said they are dealing with over 100 grievances with parent company U.S. Steel. T
he grievances range from seniority issues to being required to disclose personal information.
