One Dead, Two Injured in Head On Collision
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 40-year-old Nashwauk woman was killed and two others were injured in a head on collision in Iron Saturday.
The woman was the passenger of a 2006 Ford van. The
69-year-old driver of the vehicle, also from Nashwauk, faces non-life threatening.
A 19-year-old Mountain Iron man was the driver of the second vehicle, a 1999 Dodge Dakota. His injuries are non-life threatening.
The accident occurred on Highway 37, east of County Road 7 at 5:48p.m. Saturday.
Eveleth Police Department and St. Louis County Sheriff assisted in the crash.
