    Northlanders were treated to a special phenomenon on Thursday, October 23. A partial Solar Eclipse.  Viewers took photos using special lenses and welding equipment to make sure the didn't hurt their eyes.

    One of the most visible Lakers in the Twin Ports, the Paul R. Tregurtha ran aground near Bayfront Park in Duluth on Saturday, September 20. The 1,000-foot laker was finally freed, with the help of two tug boats.
