Red Cross, CSS Students Canvass Neighborhoods on Safe Smoke Detectors

In the most recent Duluth fire, which was fatal, absent smoke detectors were a factor. About 40 students from St. Scholastica partnered with the Red Cross on Wednesday to make sure others are safe. After some training first, the students split into groups and went door-to-door in the Pleasant View Mobile Home Park and Morgan Park neighborhood.
