Duluth Makes Proposal for Gaps in 2017 City Budget

To fill a half million dollar gap in the city's 2017 preliminary budget, Duluth Mayor Emily Larson's administration has proposed re-directing funds which were previously allocated. The plan would scale back the planned. phase-out plan for street light fees. Instead of reducing the $3.50 monthly fee that residents pay by a dollar, the new proposal would reduce the fee by 25 cents.
