Free Mental Health First Aid Class in Grand Rapids

You may be trained in CPR or the Heimlich maneuver, but would you know how to help someone in a mental health emergency?

On Tuesday, March 14th from 8:00am-5:00pm, Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital and Fairview Health Services, will host a Mental Health First Aid class to help individuals learn to identify, understand and respond to adults experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis. 

This class is free and open to the general public. Lunch and refreshments are provided. It will be held at Itasca County Family YMCA, 400 River Road, Grand Rapids, MN 55744.
