The children's classic 'Treasure Island' is being brought to life by Wise Fool Theater in Duluth. The legendary pirate, Long John Silver (Dave Orman) invaded the set of GMN on Tuesday morning to let us know what it's like to see this novel on stage.

"It's a story of adventure," he says. "It's a story of pirates and buccaneers and sword fights and sea shanties. You can never have enough sea shanties in one day as far as I'm concerned."

The play follows a boy named Jim Hawkins. He befriends a pirate named Billy Bones, who happens to have a treasure map. The map supposedly leads to a treasure that was hidden long ago by Captain Flint. During their journey, they meet Mr. Silver, who 'helps' them on their quest for the treasure.

"I put together a crew of sailors (pirates) who might or might not want to take the treasure from them (Hawkins and Bones)," Silver says.
