Tech Bytes: Twitter Archive, Tesla Truck

The Library of Congress will no longer archive the text of every tweet. The decision is largely because of the dramatic increase in twitter activity, since the collection began. Selected tweets will still be collected, mostly based on events like elections.

A Tesla pickup truck is on the way. CEO Elon Musk says he's dying to make it and it's next on the list after the model "Y". That cross-over SUV is scheduled for either 2019 or 2020. Musk says the pickup would be about the size of the Ford F-150 or a little larger.

The top- selling product on Amazon, in any category this holiday season, was Amazon's own smart home device, the "Echo Dot." Amazon says millions were sold, and the dot is temporarily sold out. Meanwhile, the most popular recipe request from the digital assistant "Alexa" was for chocolate chip cookies.
