Tech Bytes: Tech Battle, The Year in Twitter

In today's Tech Bytes, a battle brewing between two tech giants. Google is pulling YouTube from Amazon streaming devices and Amazon has stopped selling google "nest" devices. The companies have been battling each other as Google moves further into E-commerce and Amazon expands into online advertising.

Instagram is copying Snapchat's "Memories" feature with the added enhancement of archiving and highlighting. Instagram stories will now automatically archive users' content to a private part of their profile allowing them to also create highlights.

Twitter's list of the top tweets for 2017 is out. The most liked tweet, was former president Obama's about "no one is born hating another person". President Trump was the most tweeted about elected world leader. The most re-tweeted tweet was from Carter Wilkerson, who asked for re-tweets in order to get a year of free Wendy's chicken nuggets.
