Tech Bytes: Samsung Phone Reveal, Facebook "Fake News" Tool

In today's Tech Bytes, Samsung's plan to showoff its new phone earlier than expected. Reports say Samsung fans could get a sneak peek at the galaxy S9 and the S9+ this coming January at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Facebook is adding a tool to meant to weed out "fake news." It will let users know when they come in contact with Russian propaganda. It will be available by the end of the year. Facebook estimates 150-million user saw Russian- linked posts during last year's election.

Retailers are getting ready for the Black Friday deal hunting. Best Buy is kicking things off at 5 pm with deals on TV's, and Target and Walmart open at 6 tonight. Both are offering in-store customers up to $300 in gift cards with purchase of the iPhone 8 and 8 plus.
