Tech Bytes: Netflix Success, iPhone X Discontinued?

In today's Tech Bytes, Netflix is riding high. The streaming service added the most subscribers in a quarter ever; two million more than expected, and that was despite price increases and more competition. A big reason for the growth was original content. Netflix plans to spend even more on shows and movies this year.

Don't get too attached to that iPhone X. Reports say Apple is ditching the device. The phone is reportedly being discontinued when Apple introduces its new lineup in the fall. Word is the "X" will be replaced by two new edgeless devices with larger displays.

Microsoft is making a fresh push to keep Windows in the classroom. The software giant is revealing new Windows 10 and 10s laptops that cost just $189. Microsoft is also reportedly in talks with the some broadcasters and NASA, to bring more reality and video elements into schools.
