Tech Bytes: Rare Magazine, Emoji Controversy

In today's Tech Bytes, an Apple engineer is reportedly out of a job because of a video his daughter posted online. While visiting her father at work, she videotaped the unreleased iPhone X and posted the video on her blog. At one point, you could see code names for unreleased Apple products in the "Notes" app. His daughter posted a new video, saying he was fired.

An old Newsweek magazine sold for a whopping $50,000. The October 1988 issue features a young Steve Jobs on the cover. He signed his name on it, and wrote "I love manufacturing."

Google's CEO has an important task at hand today. Someone pointed out over the weekend that Google's cheese-burger emoji has the cheese under the meat. Apple's emoji have it on top. The company's CEO tweeted out that he "will drop everything else we are doing to address on monday."
