Tech Bytes: Hulu Price Cut, Sony Aibo

In today's Tech Bytes, Hulu's cheapest plan just got even cheaper. A week after Netflix announced a price hike. Hulu is slashing the its monthly subscription with limited commercials to $5.99, down from $7.99, but the offer applies only to new customers. It's good for one year.

Take a look at Mark Zuckerberg using Facebook's new virtual reality platform in a live Webcast. He and Facebook's head of virtual reality used Oculus Rift headsets to travel to Puerto Rico, to the moon, and even to Zuckerberg's own living room. Facebook bought oculus three years ago and launched the virtual reality app -- called spaces -- in April.

Man's best robot friend is making a comeback. Sony is re-introducing the Aibo, the not-so-furry friend was pulled off the market in 2006 because of cutbacks. Reports say the new version will be more of a smart device than a pet. Features will include artificial intelligence and internet connectivity.
