Tech Bytes: Apple Fraud, "robo-MANTIS"

In today's Tech Bytes, the Apple iPhone slowdown is under investigation. Last month, Apple apologized for secretly slowing down older iPhones. Now, France authorities are looking into possible fraud charges. In France, reducing a product's lifespan on purpose is a crime.

Amazon's Alexa is hitting the road! Toyota will begin putting the voice assistant into some of its vehicles starting this year. Drivers will be able to ask Alexa to turn up the heat, find music, or provide directions. Ford and Hyundai are already supporting Alexa.

The "robo-MANTIS" is a new star at the Consumer Electronics Show. It's designer calls it "the most capable robot on the market." It can walk, or roll, across any type of terrain. The "robo-MANTIS" is made by the same company that's creating the robot arms for NASA's next Mars rover.
