Tech Bytes: Apple, Amazon Breaking Records

In today's Tech Bytes, Apple is reporting its biggest quarterly profit of all time. The world's most valuable company made more than $20 billion last quarter despite a drop in iPhone sales. That drop was offset by the higher price of the iPhone X.

Amazon has also posted the largest quarterly profit in its history, just under $2 billion. The company credits record holiday sales and millions of new customers for its "Prime" service..

"Super Mario" is coming back to the big screen. Nintendo confirms a new animated movie, featuring the legendary video game hero, is in the works. The Japanese company is teaming up with "Illumination," the U.S. movie studio behind "Despicable Me" and "Minions."
