Tech Bytes: Amazon Stock Rising, HomePod Stains

In today's Tech Bytes, Amazon is now worth more than Microsoft. Amazon shares closed just over $1,451 dollars yesterday. That puts the internet retailer in third place for most valuable company in the world behind Google's parent company, Alphabet, and Apple.

Facebook's forecast isn't good when it comes to younger users. Market research company eMarketer expects the site to lose two million subscribers under the age of 25 to Snapchat this year. One reason is that young millenials like sites that emphasize visuals.

Apple is acknowledging that its HomePod is leaving white rings on oiled wood surfaces. Apple says the smart speaker's silicone base is to blame for those white rings. The company also says the white rings should fade over time, after the HomePod is removed from the wood surface.
