Superior Home Damaged by Fire

A home in Superior was damaged by a fire Thursday night.

The Superior Fire Department says crews responded around 7:39 p.m. to a two-story structure at 1907 Tower Avenue.

Upon arrival, they found heavy smoke coming from the second floor. The department says crews were able to make a quick attack on the main body of the fire, which was in a bedroom on the second floor.

All residents made it out of the home safely. A cat was found alive during the fire as well.

Damage is estimated at $30,000.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by The Superior Fire Department and Police Department.
