Duluth Public Libraries Hosting Events During MEA Break

The Duluth Public Libraries are hosting a series of events for kids and teens during MEA Break.

Local schools in the area will be closed on Thursday, October 19 and Friday, October 20.

Mount Royal library in Kenwood is hosting a "Preschool Storytime" on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. The library reports that if parents are able to drop off one of their child's stuffed toys the day before, the kids will be able to hear about their library adventures during storytime.

Lego's will be available for kids to play with at the West Duluth library on Thursday at 4 p.m.

The Main library is hosting Teen Anima & Manga Club on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. The meeting will include anime, cosplay, manga, food and fun games for teens in grades 6 through 12. On friday at 4 p.m, they'll be screening "Captain Underpants: The Epic Adventure." Crafts, games, trivia and more will take place before-hand, at 2 p.m.

Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult for all events.
