Part of the proceeds from this year's run will benefit the Denfeld Boys Soccer team and Dance Team.

Head coach of the boys soccer team, Scott Anderson, explains that money will go toward training equipment, practice goals and transportation expenses.

Players will be volunteering at water stations as well as the "blasting stations" placed around the course. The blast involves a handful of colored corn starch. Anderson says it's completely safe to be around.

Everyone who registers gets a color run t-shirt, and those who finish will receive a commemorative medal.

Folks who are interested in the run can register here. Anderson says you can enter the promo code: "MORNING" to receive a $5 discount.

The Color Run is Sunday, September 17 at 9:00 a.m.
